There's a broken girl,

somewhere inside her.

I can see it in her eyes..

all the pain and sorrow.

how will she make it tomorrow?

She tells me stories of her past,

and how she wanted it to last..

She thinks way too much..

thoughts constricting her heart,

she'll never know what to do..

everyone is her worst enemy and they're out to get her..

in the worst possible ways.

The days are fading to shades of gray

and the sun is blinding her eyes;

is her life a living nightmare,

or could this really be reality?

she wants someone of her own,

just to be there are tell her everything will okay,

if just for today.

everything will be alright,

if just for tonight.
